GENERAL PROGRAM INFORMATION

Teaching Methodology

All programs utilize a communicative, student-centered approach that emphasizes practical language use. Instruction incorporates task-based learning, authentic materials, technology integration, and cultural context. Classes balance structured grammar instruction with opportunities for meaningful communication and real-world application.

Materials & Resources

Students receive:

• Professionally developed curriculum materials and lesson plans

• Digital and print resources (textbooks, workbooks, flashcards)

• Access to online learning platforms and practice tools

• Supplementary multimedia resources (audio, video, interactive exercises)

• Progress reports and feedback documents

Bilingual & Trilingual Support

Understanding that students learn more effectively when complex concepts can be explained in their native or preferred languages, we offer instruction with support in French and Wolof. This approach allows for clearer comprehension of grammar rules, cultural nuances, and complex vocabulary while maintaining English as the primary language of instruction.

Homework & Independent Study

Students should expect to complete homework assignments between sessions. Typical homework includes vocabulary practice, grammar exercises, reading assignments, writing tasks, and listening activities. Independent study time varies by level but generally ranges from 1-3 hours per week for beginners to 3-5 hours per week for advanced students.

Progress Tracking

Students receive regular progress reports documenting their development across all language skills. Instructors maintain detailed records of strengths, areas for improvement, and recommendations for continued growth. Mid-program and end-of-program assessments provide objective measures of proficiency gains.

Certificate of Completion

Upon successful completion of any program tier, students receive a Certificate of Completion from Touba Consulting & Publishing. The certificate documents the program level, hours completed, and proficiency level achieved. This credential can support applications for academic programs, employment opportunities, or further English study.
